Nick Ruehl, AIA, Director of Design and Projects

Mr. Ruehl is the Director of Design and Projects and a member of the technical staff. He leads the design and development of the larger-scaled protected enclosures, and is a lead team member in Vulnerability Assessments. Nick brings 40 years of experience in architecture and construction, with over 35 years as an owner and managing principal in an architectural firm and an A/E/C company. He has experience in designing a wide range of both public and private sector projects. Nick is also a 4 term Mayor of the City of Excelsior, MN, a position that has allowed him to gain a unique perspective in emergency preparedness and public safety policy.
